Anyways, so personally I never thought I would ever get a blog. But here goes, unexpected things happen :p Let’s take a second to ponder then why I decided to start a blog. Is it because I want to lament about my life and want everyone to hear about it? or is it because I want I want to say things about people and things that a civilised etiquette wouldn’t normally allow?

Second’s over. Well, your partly correct but moreover I decided to do this because of one conversation that i overheard between two guys. First, let me introduce you to the backdrop. We were being shown this documentary by Al Gore on global warming called “An Inconvenient Truth” in the auditorium (It’s really good – watch it if you have the time). So about halfway through the thing, this dialogue occurred between two Chinese guys (no offence guys).

Guy1: eh.. this thing so long sia.. they make it as we’re gonna die tomorrow la..

Guy2: aiya.. it is important want.. at least can miss the stupid bio lecture.

Guy1: oh yeah..

Guy2: you know what i think.. they say that Americans contribute maximum to global warming right.. (with a serious face) so that why terrorists are good.. they kill Americans.. that way global warming decreases..

Guy1: sia la.. i never thought of it that way.. i agree man.. the terrorists themselves do not cause any pollution..

Incredible! By now I had lost all interest in Al Gores rambling about how everyone’s doomed unless we change and was mesmerised by this conversation. It went on to more and greater ideas – even to the height of destroying the humankind and rebuilding ourselves from scratch. But I think you get the general idea. I was so sardonically impressed by their intellectual conversation, that I decided to start a blog to share the ideas of these great people with you. Enough of this. Let me introduce myself.

I am an average Victorian living alone in a hostel. Why? A simple reason – its not everyday you get paid to study I love hanging out with friends, my laptop and most of all, thinking. I could spend hours thinking about anything, may seem weird, but that’s what I love doing – this blog is going to be filled with my thoughts which may sometimes range from nonsensical to complete gibberish. And just one more thing about me – I hate people who give advice they can’t take and people who stick their extra large, smelly noses into places where they don’t belong.

Currently, even watching you hair grow may seem more interesting than my life. All I can do or have to do is study because I got my prelims soon (normally it wouldn’t matter – but if I don’t do well I won’t be paid to study anymore *boo* and would be sent back to where I belong *hopefully*.) Another question – If my prelims start next week why am I sitting and typing this blog which nobody really cares about? It is because I need a break (actually my books – I got stuck on one problem and ended up nearly throwing the book out of the window.) So I suggest that if you want an idea of how I really like to live my life, come back after November 5th – the end of my exams *wooohooo* and you’ll be shocked by the change.

Anyways, you have come the end of my first post ever. If you are still shocked by that conversation, a good night’s sleep should cure it. But if you are impressed their word, kindly call the police, put yourself in a straightjacket immediately and when the authorities come, request to be sent to the farside of Pluto as soon as possible.
